He fronted you $2,000 at 5% a day, takes cash in person in New York or London, and lends more up to $10,000 owed. His first text said no rush. Later ones say some rush.
He is the reason you have a bag. Before day one he put $2,000 in your hand, and by day one the meter was running: 5% a day on whatever is still owed, compounding, every day, including the days you spend in the air. He said the number once, in his first text. He is cheerful and patient about it, and that is a different thing from lenient.
He does not do transfers. He is in New York and London, and only there, and you pay him back in person, any amount, cash. If you arrive broke he will lend you more, in the same two cities, up to $10,000 owed. He will call this a favor. It is.
Every few days he texts, in his own RICH UNCLE thread. "Your aunt says hi. She also asked about the money. I said nothing." Or: "Not a reminder. Just a hello. From your uncle. Who lent you money." His first text ended with "No rush." One later one finishes the thought: "Just checking in, kiddo. No rush. Well. Some rush."
Pay him in full and he says he knew you had it in you. Your aunt owes him twenty bucks.
