PRIVACY POLICY

Excess Baggage collects nothing of its own. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers. Your runs, your settings, and your purchases live on your phone. The only two things that ever leave it are handled by Apple.

The app saves your current run, your settings, and a record of which packs you own to its own storage on your device. That is what lets you close the app mid-run and pick it up later.

That data:

• stays on your device
• is never sent to us, because we have no server to send it to
• is not shared with anyone else
• is deleted when you delete the app, or when you start a new run

If you sign in to Game Center, Apple handles your identity and your leaderboard scores under Apple's own privacy policy. The app sends only your final score for each run length to Apple's leaderboards. We never see your Apple ID, your name, or your contacts, and you can play without signing in.

Every purchase in Excess Baggage is a one-time unlock handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app checks with the App Store to confirm what you own so it can unlock that content on any of your devices.

• It does not use the camera, the microphone, your contacts, your photos, or your location.
• It does not track you, across this app or any other.
• It does not show advertising.
• It does not use analytics of any kind.

This site, excessbaggageapp.com, is hosted on Vercel. It counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you: it records the page, the referring site, and your rough country and device type, and nothing that follows you to other sites. The site has no accounts, no forms, and no advertising. When you tap a button to get the game, the site counts the tap and sends you to the App Store, where Apple's privacy policy applies.

Excess Baggage is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no data of its own, there is nothing for us to collect from a child or from anyone else.

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it. Continued use of the app or this site means you accept the updated policy.
