Darryl knows prices. He will tell you what watches are going for in Dubai this week and what graphics cards fetched in Sydney, and he will be right 70% of the time, which he rounds up to always. The other 30% he never mentions again. He is stocky, late twenties, chest out, and he holds his phone up like it proves his point. It sometimes does. Take his numbers seriously and his certainty less so. Every text ends with a hedge, and the hedge is how he talks, not a sign the tip is bad. He hedges the true ones too.
Watches are going for about 20% under normal in Dubai. Cheap cheap. Or at least that's what I heard.
